Job Description

 

ProTeleCo is looking to hire a dynamic individual with 2 to 3 years of experience as Telecommunication Engineer responsible for the implementation of Telephony systems (Media Servers & Gateways and all related components) and to provide product support. The Telecommunication Engineer will be responsible for the research and understanding of the needs of the customer and define the overall technical solution. This person will lead internal technical resources to prepare and deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations. This person will be responsible to answer in-depth customer questions and inquiries. The Telecommunication Engineer will combine a deep understanding of business issues and all product offerings to define solutions that provide key business value.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

 

  • Avaya Certified Expert or Avaya Certified Specialist
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • At least 1 year experience in working with Avaya Site Administrator
  • Must have the understanding of VPN.
  • Ability to travel for offshore implementations
  • Engineering Degree
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Professional, Social, Team Player and, Friendly
  • Must have good public relationship and be able to deal professionally with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Expert in using Visio, Word and, Excel
  • Must be a quick learner
  • Must be able to perform tasks with little supervision
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Knowledge of UNIX and/or Linux
  • Ability to conduct training sessions

Selected candidate will work with customers and the team for installation and implementation of Avaya  & Cisco telephony systems and services across UAE and the region and, be able to support application maintenance.

 

Travel Profile Required

 

  • 10% to 20% travel to support sales cycles and marketing events

 

Education/Certification and Experience Required

 

  • Four-year university degree with a major in engineering, math, science, computer science, or business.
  • Product Certified (i.e. ACE, CCNA, ...)
  • Three years of proven presales or sales success at selling business solutions in a complex selling environment to address issues within Telecommunication, Application Development, etc.
